Our sourdough bread is crafted the traditional way — using the wild yeast from the air and a long, slow fermentation process that creates a loaf full of flavor and life. This natural fermentation makes our bread gentle on the gut, easier to digest, and lower on the glycemic index then conventional bread. We use only four simple ingredients: fresh-milled organic einkorn, organic hard red wheat, sea salt, and water — that's it. No commercial yeast, no additives, nothing artificial. Our bread freezes beautifully - slice it, tuck it into a freezer bag, and it'll stay fresh for a couple weeks. Just toast it or warm it up, and it's as good as the day it was baked.
